It includes the whole Valtellina slope of Alpi Orobie, with mountain chains between 2,000 and 3,000 meters and considerable naturalistic and landscape interesting features. The vegetation is rich in broadleaf tree woodlands at lower altitudes, and in Spruce firs at higher altitudes, beyond which you will find alpine grasslands rich in characteristic local flora. The presence of typical Alpine wildlife is remarkable, with large populations of chamois, deer and roe deer, as well as of wild goats, which have been recently reintroduced. There are also large populations of Tetraonidae and birds of prey.
