Parco Naturale Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino

Every day during the Christmas holidays from 27 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 (excluding 1 January), afternoon outing 2.30 pm.
From 8 January to 26 March 2025 on Wednesdays, double daily outing at 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

A Park expert will accompany you on an easy and evocative guided walk, suitable for everyone, to learn more about the history of the Paneveggio forest, its unique characteristics, its small and large inhabitants and the significant changes that have transformed it forever, the signs of which are right in front of our eyes today. Look and listen closely - for footprints, remains and other signs of animal presence, which become even more evident thanks to the whiteness of the snow and the silence of the forest at this time of year. Don't miss a stop at the nearby wildlife area, where you can admire some beautiful deer, the Park's iconic animal, up close.

• Time and meeting point: 10.20 a.m. and 2.20 p.m. at the Park Visitor Centre in Paneveggio (Google Maps coordinates)
• Duration of activity: approx. 2 hours
• Technical level: easy
• Clothing and equipment: It is strongly recommended to wear waterproof and non-slip footwear (hiking boots); it is preferable to have non-slip crampons in case of ice on the path or snowshoes after snowfalls in the area. Warm, layered clothing suitable for low winter temperatures is recommended (anorak, gloves, scarf, cap)

Participation fee: € 5.00 (free for accompanied children up to 6 years of age)
