The Park is characterized by a thick network of routes and countryside
roads. Such routes preserve the aim to connect the various towns or
farmsteads, as well as the countryside where several people used to
spend most of their working day.
After being recovered
and enhanced by the Park, such network gives the opportunity to enjoy
the small and big natural beauties of the area and to discover the
characteristic landscapes (increasingly threatened) of the Upper Po
Plan in the west of the river Adda, as well as to continue the working
activity of an agricultural world which is increasingly concerned in
combining the production activity with the safeguard of the environment.
Consorzio Parco del Rio Vallone, in association with Unione Italiana Ciechi (the Italian Foundation for the Blind), has prepared two routes:
whose
description has been recorded on audio guides (you can download them
from the Park web site or require a CD directly at the Park addresses)
in association with Distretto Lions 108 IB.
The audio guides give
the opportunity to listen to the explanations during the walk, leaving
the hands free for the exploration of the natural environment.
Each point of interest of the route (described in the audio guide) has
adequate signals for the tactile approach and for partially sighted
people.>>>
