The itinerary extends in the westernmost part of the park, in the new municipality of Colverde, a hamlet of Drezzo, towards the border areas with Switzerland and the municipalities of Ronago and Uggiate Trevano.
The ring-route itinerary has two entrances, one in the upper part, starting from the Drezzo sports field and another in the lower part, after about 50 metres from the Vittorio pizzeria restaurant, starting on the right-hand side of the provincial road, in the direction of the Italo-Swiss border of Crociale dei Mulini.
