Parco Sorgenti del Torrente Lura

The sources of the Lura torrent are located on the Somazzo hill, in the municipalities of Uggiate Trevano, Bizzarone and Ronago, on the border with the wooded areas of Mendrisiotto. The springs and the water from the water meadows and ditches that the torrent drains in its initial stretch determine the torrential character of the Lura, which gradually changes towards the valley, where the flow of the torrent depends on the contribution of the purification plants.
