The publication, rich in tables, photos, and drawings, describes in detail the issues linked to the geological and paleontological aspects of great importance for the Park.
After a short introduction on the basic concepts of the "Earth Science", the publication mainly deals with issues regarding Stirone outcrops through the description of 10 "stops" along the watercourse, from upstream towards downstream; for each of them, the sediment types, the formation environment, and the main fossils are described.
In the final part of the book you will also find a glossary.
