The Park is situated in the south of Lago Maggiore, where river Ticino flows out from the lake and reaches Region Lombardia. The Park is mainly characterized by a rural landscape where mills and farmhouses still survive. Mulino Vecchio of Bellinzago has been recently renovated. It currently houses permanent exhibits and many educational activities.
