The Park includes the territories along the banks of the river Lambro, in the stretch between Pusiano and Alserio Lakes in the north and the park of Villa Reale di Monza in the south. The hilly areas of Brianza (a region between Milan and Como) are the most interesting from a naturalistic point of view, since they include some precious marshy environments, Inverigo ravine, and the monumental complex consisting of Rotonda, Villa Crivelli, and S. Maria della Noce. The several patrician villas and their historical gardens are of great historical interest.
