Didactic proposals
All the year round the Duino-Aurisina local government organizes environmental education programs to raise awareness among individuals of different age and experiences that are more and more open to the knowledge of the natural values, and to enhance the Falesie di Duino Regional Nature Reserve. Since a few years Miramare shares with its surrounding areas some development proposals for a better awareness of the environment. Two collaborations have been put in place with two Natural Reserves in the Trieste municipality, essential for their protection role towards habitats and fauna: the Falesie di Duino Regional Natural Reserve and the Val Rosandra-Dolina Glinščice Regional Natural Reserve, both able to provide information about Karst and coastal environments.
