The walk starts behind the visitor center. Reach the Solvay old quarry an keep on walking until the dirt road turns into a path winding on the Colle Nero's slope. Follow the CAI path marker 77 up to Casa Cadorna (118m). Cross a short tunnel (which was built during World War I), and reach a panoramic point overlooking the lake. Go back to Casa Cadorna and turn left to take the path no. 72. A short downhill way leads visitors to the municipal road connecting the built-up area of Doberdò with the state street 55 Gorizia - Trieste. Cross the road. The path continues downhill. Once reached a path turn left and enter the wood up to the panoramic boardwalk. Keep on going and cross a meadow until you reach the riparian wood. The path nearby leads to the municipal road connecting the built-up area of Doberdò to that of Iamiano. Turn right and keep on going for about 150 meters until you see a path entering the forest. Keep on walking until you arrive near the Pietrarossa lake. Mount Debeli (139 m) is always on your right side. You are on the path 81 leading to the Pietrarossa Visitor Center (not usable). Follow the path marker and by the fork take the path - dirt road number 82. Mount Debeli is always on your right side. An uphill stretch leads to a fork. Go straight until you reach the path 72 again. through uphill and downhill stretches reach the municipal road Doberdò-Iamiano again. Here you can turn left or go back to the built-up area of Doberdò on foot, otherwise follow the path on the opposite side of the road and take the path leading back to Casa Cadorna.
