Another diving spot rich in interesting naturalistic features is offered by this big cavity opening under the imposing calcareous cliff facing in the south-east of Tavolara, at an intermediate depth of 12-14m.
Outside, it is covered by a stratum of green or red encrusting algae; inside, where there is not enough light, sponges, bryozoans, and Coelenterates compete for each square centimeter of surface, giving birth to an extraordinary variety of colors that only the light of a torch can reveal.
