Fornovo Taro can be reached from exit of the same name of the highway A15 (about 15 km from the interchange with A1 for visitors coming from Milano, Bologna etc.; about 80 km from the interchange with A12 for visitors coming from Liguria, Tuscany etc.), or along the State Road No. 62 (by the 23rd km from Parma), by train (train line Parma - La Spezia) or with the public transport service.
From Fornovo Taro one follows the State road No. 62 (towards Berceto), which delimits the Reserve on the westside 6 to 9 km far from Fornovo, or along the Provincial road Val Sporzana No. 39 delimiting the Reserve on the eastside 7 to 8 km far from Fornovo Taro.
The visitor center lies in the State Road No. 62 of Cisa, 7 km upstream of Fornovo Taro (towards Berceto-P.so della Cisa) in the Via Rocchetta 1, Case sparse di Piantonia, 43045 Fornovo Taro (PR).
