Monti Rognosi lie a few kilometers in the north of Anghiari, a town you can easily reach from Arezzo heading for SP 71 to Bibbiena and taking, immediately after, SP 43; alternatively, you can also reach Anghiari from Sansepolcro, situated a few kilometers away. From Anghiari, take SP 45 to Ponte alla Piera and, after about 4 km, turn left to loc. Bagnolo. Near the dam over the stream Sovara, there is the beginning of a route giving the opportunity to reach the summit of Poggio Pian della Croce and go along the northern slope up to the building of Conventino. From Conventino, crossing the stream Sovara, you can return to SP 45. Alternatively, always from Anghiari, taking the road to Caprese Michelangelo you can reach loc. Motina, from where it is possible to access the path network of the adjacent area of the Reserve.
