The site is diversified and offers varied ecological environments ensuring the presence of a significant biodiversity. Besides the aquatic biotope, we can also mention the riparian environment, the walls, the valley, the plateau, and the caves. The crystal-like waters of the river, thanks to its streaming nature, are the ideal home for the Sicilian and the Brown Trout. On the riverbed, we can see the Tench. It is also possible to see eels and freshwater crabs.
