Environmental Education 2018/2019
The Reserve presents some structures for tourists' welcoming: the Visitor Centre, the Didactic Workshop of Casa Spina and few observatories.
The Visitor Centre is situated along the way from Grado to Fossalon. Here tourists could find some panels, explaining the Reserve and its fauna (mainly its birds) and a dynamic scale model that represents the valley and how it works for fish breeding. For children, and even for adults, it is also possible to imitate birds' sounds thanks to a computer game while a documentary on the Reserve is displayed. Next to the Visitor Centre, there are an aquarium and a fresh water basin. Its paths are always open while, upon reservation, tourists could experience guided tours on foot, by bike or by canoe. There are many different activities for everyone, not only for birdwatchers!
Opening hours:
From November 1st to March 31st: on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm
From April 1st to October 31st: every day from 10 am to 6 pm (closed on Thursday)
