The route, which is about 7 kilometers long (outward journey only) and lasts a little more than one hour (outward and backward journey), is flat and allows visitors to enjoy some of the most charming landscapes in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The departure point is the Oasis of Valle Cavanata. Once reached the Oasis from the Monfalcone-Grado provincial road, one can park one's own car and rent a bike at the Visitor Center to cover the asphalted street running along the Averto Canal (Via Averto) and leading to the bank beyond which there is the sea.
