Itinerary C (Averto Woodland)

It can be entirely gone through by bike and it is about 9 km long.
It leaves from the Visitor Center in direction Fossalon, near the cemetery: here you turn left on a non-asphalt road (the so-called Strada Bissa, the only inner and winding road).
In this way, you will go along Averto woodland, mainly consisting of elms and offering shelter to a number of roe deer and seabirds (mallards, gadwalls, coots, and moorhens) which, above all during the winter, can be found in the waters of the homonymous channel.
When you get at the end of the woodland, at the border of the Reserve, it is possible to go back and follow the same road of the outward journey or, if you are willing to, go ahead up to the SP road and, by turning twice on the left, carry out a ring-route which along via Valle will lead you back to the Visitor Center.
