Ospitalità Amica del Parco Marino - Friendly Hospitality of the Marine Park
This is a recognition programme for the owners of the accommodation facilities present in the AMP on an annual basis, as for the call for beach resorts.
With this initiative, born also from the work during ASTA course (Alta Scuola di Turismo Ambientale - High School for Sustainable Tourism) held in Pineto and Silvi last April, we want to give the owners of accommodation facilities that are characterized by a high environmental value, the widest possibility to have their actions for the environment officially recognized.
The title of "Ospitalità Amica del parco marino - Friendly Hospitality of the Marine Park" is linked to the procedure of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (ECST), an important recognition issued by the EUROPARC Federation, that the AMP Torre del Cerrano, first marine protected area in Europe, obtained in 2014 and which allows the AMP to issue certificates related to the ECST procedure.
