The Protected Area System of Piedmont Po consists of 8 protected areas, involving four Provinces (Alessandria, Cuneo, Turin, Vercelli). Therefore, it is not possible to provide in detail all the many and varied methods you can access the 8 protected areas.
If you want to visit the protected areas managed by the Park Authority, it is recommended to use the method bike + train, following the long network of cycle facilities.
Crossed by several railway lines, the Protected Areas of the Piedmont Po are easily accessible using the method "train + bike". The presence of several railway stations also favors the planning of itineraries ending in a place different from the departure point.
Railway lines
The transport of the bike is allowed on almost all the suburban, regional, and intercity trains. For further information and to reserve extra coaches, if you are an organized group, contact the railway companies.
