Visitor Centers
The Casa del fiume is a Center for environmental education and the main structure of the Gesso and Stura river park for the realization of educational and training activities, laboratories and events that can bring people to nature in various ways. The educational apiary, attached to the building, offers a unique didactic experience within the world of bees which, in turn, represents a glimpse of what the universe of pollinating insects is.
The building takes on a cross-border value from the fact that it was largely financed with European funds and wants to be part of a network of environmental education centers in the Italian-French territory, in particular that of the Alpi Marittime and Mercantour parks, partners of the project.
Opposite the Casa del Fiume, in Piazzale Walther Cavallera 13, there is the Infopoint, the Park's information and welcome point, as well as the heart of its visitor services.
