Driving along Via Flaminia you can admire and visit the historical centers of the municipalities within the Park territory. Following the inner roads leaving from Scheggia, you can access the extraordinary itinerary of the abbeys. Further inner roads lead to the Val di Ranco area and to the tourist settlements built there in the 1960s, or to the wonderful Pian delle Macinare area.
The entire Park in its mountainous area is crossed by a dense and well-marked network of paths (about 120km) and by the Sentiero Italia. Some of these paths are suitable for horse-riding and for tours by mountain bike. Moreover, visitors will find in the Park not only a nature oasis but also a unique "gym" to practise trekking, caving, free flight, canyoning, and cross-country skiing.
