This publication gathers the knowledge collected by WWF in thirty years of nature conservation and management in Le Bine.
Already in 1987, the Conservation Commission of WWF Lombardia had published a book with the title "Le Bine. Studi e ricerche (1980-1986)" illustrating the data of the first surveys carried out in the protected area.
Since then, WWF has continued - with the collaboration of "Le Bine società semplice" and Oglio Sud Park - the scientific studies and the monitoring of the environmental situation with the aim to better understand the ecology of the marsh and its conservation problems.
