Botanic Itinerary Baraggia di Candelo

Aula Verde has been created by Baragge, Bessa and Brich Park Authority, in association with Città di Candelo, to introduce the knowledge of some of the main vegetable species growing in Baragge. The route is divided into four sections: the first one houses characteristic species of the alluvial plain, the second one the characteristic species of the terraces slope, the third one the characteristic species of the river terraces, the fourth one the characteristic species of the talwegs.
Next to each vegetable species there is a panel illustrating its main features.
Possibility of packed lunch in a special area.
How to reach Aula Verde: leave from Candelo in direction of Mottalciata. After the downhill path and at the beginning of the long straight path, turn left in via Isangarda (panel situated at the crossroads from the Municipality of Candelo); continue along the asphalt road at first and then along a dirt road for about 2 km until you reach Aula Verde.
The structure has free access and is particularly suitable for school visits.
The road bed is flat, with earth and meadow. If the weather is not too bad, it is also accessible for wheelchairs, better if with an assistant.
