By Car
- If you come from Highway A 25 Rome - Pescara:
Exit Sulmona-Pratola Peligna. SS road 17 direction Roccaraso-Naples, 20 km.
- If you come from Naples:
A1 Motorway Exit Caianello direction Venafro - Roccaraso. From Roccaraso 25 km towards Sulmona. Driving along the Highway 17.
By Train
- From Rome, Pescara, or L'Aquila:
Get off at Sulmona railway station and take the TUA bus service. There are only a few bus rides every day.

By Bus
- Pettorano sul Gizio is served by TUA bus service leaving from Sulmona and by Arpa and TUA and SATAM services connecting Pescara with Naples. However, the latter do not enter the town.
If you come from Rome, take the bus service from Tiburtina station to Sulmona, and here the suburban bus to Pettorano.
TUA and SATAM buses from Naples leave from Garibaldi Station, from Pescara they leave from the square of the Central Station.

- The nearest airport is Pescara airport. Connections with London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, and Brussels. As an alternative, the airports of Rome Ciampino and Rome Fiumicino.
