Montagna di Torricchio Nature Trail

The Nature Trail of Montagna di Torricchio Nature Reserve develops in the protected area situated within the municipal territory of Pieve Torina for about 2 km. The trail leaves at the beginning of Val di Tazza, from the entrance Jean Paul Harroy, and then climbs the slopes of Mt. Ferma. It includes about a dozen of information boards, seven educational panels fastened on 8 boards scattered along the trail.
The information you will find on the boards come from research activities carried out in the Reserve: data collection, censuses, monitoring activities. Visitors, that is qualified staff (researchers) and experts in the landscape-environmental field, will have the opportunity to read the quality and quantity data, directly relating them with the environment where they have been collected.
The visit can be both real and virtual: following the map below (all links lead to Italian text), you will have the opportunity to walk along the trail, avoiding logistic barriers like steep or not accessible areas which sometimes prevent from having a thorough knowledge in the field.
