Didactic Proposals
Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area promotes an initiative of education to sustainability dedicated to schools of the regional territory, of any kind and grade.
The initiative, organized in collaboration with Cooperative Diomedea, consists of guided visits along the coastal area of Villasimius with environmental education activities, naturalistic knowledge, and environmental interpretation to carry out in the Environmental Education and Sustainability Center (CEAS) - Visitor Center of the MPA, situated in the Tourist Port of Villasimus, which has been recently renovated.
The aim is to promote the territory and the marine area of Villasimius, sensitizing school groups to the safeguard and enhancement of the environmental heritage, the knowledge of ecology and biology of the marine and coastal environments, as well as to promote the sustainable use of the coastal strip.
